Setting up WordPress Site for First Time

Admin Panel Settings

1. Go to Plugins (/wp-admin/plugins.php?plugin_status=all), and activate all Plugins.
2. Go to “Manage Themes” (/wp-admin/themes.php), and activate “FlexTemplate”, by clicking on it, and then clicking “Activate” at top-right of popup window.
3. Go to “Reading Settings (/wp-admin/options-reading.php), and set “front page displays:” to “a static page” -> “Front Page” -> “Home”
4. Go to General Options (/wp-admin/options-general.php), and change “Tagline” to “KansasDC_Intranet”
5. Go to Permalink Settings (/wp-admin/options-permalink.php), and change “Custom Structure” to:  /%postname%
