The DOD (Dept of Defense) needed a website that would showcase all the activities & events that were available to service members. We built a Event & Location Listing system so that each restaurant & venue could have it’s own webpage with photos, hours of operation and information.
They also needed a way to showcase new events occurring on or near the bases. We worked with them to design the layout & backend forms and then we went to work developing the job to their specs. We currently host & manage this web property.
The Morale Welfare & Recreation department for a large military base contacted us for a redesign of their website and CMS. They needed an easy to use CMS so that their staff could easily modify and add content. This was a large-scale project involving the design and development of 3 separate websites. All of the websites needed to share a similar template for branding purposes. Las Vegas Web Design. However, the sites still needed to maintain their own identity. We created one master template, and then each website got its own child theme to make it different. We also developed several customs systems and plugins for their websites. We created a Location Listing and Profile system so that each business, restaurant, and venue on the base could be easily shown to military members on base. The system included fields for description, images, hours of operation, and file uploads. The system is managed by their staff. Las Vegas Web Designer. We also created several other systems for them. The main goal of the web development process was to ensure that their staff could easily manage the site with minimal intervention and training.
