For Draft 2 Reyna and I had a meeting via Skype with screen-sharing.  This is why there is no feedback below.

• Added purple touches throughout the design, as Reyna felt strongly about the meanings behind the color purple.
• Raised opacity for Footer image of Reyna.
• Changed write-up color from black to blue.

1. Go to Plugins (/wp-admin/plugins.php?plugin_status=all), and activate all Plugins.
2. Go to “Manage Themes” (/wp-admin/themes.php), and activate “FlexTemplate”, by clicking on it, and then clicking “Activate” at top-right of popup window.
3. Go to “Reading Settings (/wp-admin/options-reading.php), and set “front page displays:” to “a static page” -> “Front Page” -> “Home”
4. Go to General Options (/wp-admin/options-general.php), and change “Tagline” to “KansasDC_Intranet”
5. Go to Permalink Settings (/wp-admin/options-permalink.php), and change “Custom Structure” to:  /%postname%

• This has to do with the IP changing, along with the MX records getting deleted on your end.
• So the downtime we’re looking at is 4-48 hours for the new IP to propagate.
• In my expereince, it is usually around 6 hours.

Domain X-fer Process Part 1 (Registrar):

1. You remove the whois privacy service for crownbakeryguam.com
2. You Email me the auth code (inside panel.dreamhost.com “Domains->Reg”)
3. I initiate the x-fer at Godaddy

Although this is the first time I’ve tried from DH, so we’ll see how it goes.

Domain X-fer Part 2 (DH Account):
Now that we have the Registrar changed to ours, we can move forward by changing the domain from your account to my DH account.

1. Inside panel.dreamhost.com, go to “Domains->Manage Domains”
2. Click the “Delete” button, and confirm that you want to delete it.
3. Email me to let me know it is safe to now add it into my DH account.

When your friend clicks the link, MediaFire then downloads your files to your friend’s computer.

So basically it’s an easy way to transfer files to a friend.

This tutorial goes over how to upload & share your download link with your friend in only 6 easy steps!

Step 1:

Go to http://mediafire.com (click link) and click on the big green button.

Step 2:

• After clicking the Green button, a window will popup.
• Note the instructions as you might need them in Step 3:  “Use CTRL+Mouse Click to select multiple files”.
• Click on the yellow box (and a new window pops up).

Step 3:

• In the new window,  select the file (or files) you want to upload.
• If you have more than 1 file in a folder you’d like to upload:
  • hold the CTRL key on your keyboard
  • (with key held) use your Mouse to highlight all the files you want to upload.
• With files all selected, click the Open button.
  • might look different if you are using Mac, but the button should still say “Open”.
• The window will close, and you now click on the green Begin Uploading button.
• Your uploading will begin, and now you just wait till it’s done.

Step4:

• Once uploading is complete, you will see your file in the window with a blue Share link.
• Click the Share link.

Step 5

A new window will popup, and you click the “Copy Link” link.

Step 6

• With the link “copied”, you now just go into your email account, start an Email, and “Paste” the code into the body of the email.
  • Pasting can be done by right-clicking (Mouse)  in the body area, and selecting “Paste”.
  • Pasting can also be done by hitting CTRL+V on your keyboard.
• Address the email to:  info@bizsitenow.com
  • or any other email for the person you are dealing with at BizSiteNow.
• That’s it!

This simple software app allows you to quickly list your products/services, and when a user selects one to purchase, they are forwarded to PayPal.com (or other payment provider) to complete the payment.

Note that you will need a Payment Account from either to utilize this app:

Also note that this system is only recommended for a max. of 10 items.  Any more than that and it may not meet your needs (in which case a Shopping Cart software should be used).

DRAFT 1

• Lisa’s request for a Burnt-orange background were incorporated in the top and bottom backgrounds.  The orange will fade into the white of the page
• Clare’s request for “simplicity of info” was taken into account in laying out information.
• Clare’s request for “fun, exercise feeling” were taken into account
• Lisa & Clare’s choice of “Arial Rounded MT Bold” for the Titles were used.
• Clare’s request to keep the rotating gallery of images was implemented.
• I placed the 3 most searched for pieces of info (phone numbers & hours) in the header, so users can quickly find it, without further clicking.
• The Top Links will be dropdowns, which will contain further links to the rest of the site.
• I needed to shorten your “welcome paragraph” as it was too long (web users like short paragraphs with large text for homepage), and did not quickly convey the key pieces of info to a new customer.
