For clients wanting to sell products or services online, we can setup a standard shopping cart system on your CMS.
This makes it possible for people to browse your products/services, add them to the shopping cart & check-out.
Service Agreement
- We setup your Shopping Cart software for you.
- Instruct you on how to add your products & services into your CMS.
- We monitor your Shopping Cart software to ensure it continues to function optimally
- Please be advised that you must have a Merchant Account to receive payments online.
- We advise all clients that are thinking of starting an eCommerce store, that it is a very demanding operation.
- In our experience 8 out 10 eCommerce stores fail in the first year.
- Credit card fraud & product returns are the main reasons that eStores fail.
Under your “Service Agreement” you really seem to put a bad light on eCommerce stores. If you are trying to get more customers then you need to be a little more positive in your marketing.
Hi Mr. Yang,
Our main priority is on keeping our clients happy & keeping them for the long-term.
So we apologize if we come off as being negative; really our goal is to ensure that individuals take the launching of an eStore very seriously, as we hate seeing good people fail and waste their hard-earned savings.
Far too many times we’ve seen people get involved with a Retail eStore without really understanding how much work & financial backing it actually takes.
We have seen some success with clients that already have a working physical business, and then supplement their sales with a eCommerce store. But what this usually means is that these people already have the experience and financial backing necessary, so adding an eStore is just a supplemental activity.
Adversely, where we see the most failures are in people that start from scratch with just an eStore and they expect it to be easy. On the contrary, I consider it harder to start a succesful eStore than a successful brick & mortar store.
Anyone can launch a Corner Store, but it takes a special person to launch a successful eStore.
